This AR glasses makes you ride without distracting

Although VR has been able to make cyclists feel the freedom of riding in a comfortable home, the new AR glasses can play a huge role for those who still love to go out.

Israeli company Everysight announced yesterday the launch of its new product, Raptor, a smart eyeglass designed for cyclists. It's easy to think of Google's smart glasses project, or the upcoming CastAR. During the ride, Raptor displays various statistics such as turn navigation, time, distance, speed, heart rate, rhythm and power. Although these can be done on a smartphone, wearing Raptor glasses, the rider does not need to be distracted, and the data is available when the eyes are on the road.

Raptor's display is a bit like the information on the car's dashboard. It is controlled mainly by means of a device mounted on the handle of the bicycle or by voice commands and a touchpad. In addition, it is equipped with a front camera to record the wonderful moments of each ride for users to watch or share. Raptor will also upload the statistics to the companion app, and Everyglass will release the iOS and Android versions of the app.

Everysight also mentioned that Raptor's battery life will work hard to charge on a 100-mile ride.

Before the release of the consumer version, Everysight is preparing a three-month free trial for Raptor in 2017. Interested users can apply for a trial through the Everysight website. You can also pre-order the final consumer version of the glasses on the official website. Currently, Everysight has not announced the official release date or price of the product.
