CISSOID, a leading provider of high-temperature semiconductor solutions, has launched a new family of high-temperature transistors and switches. Among them is the Mars, a 30V P-FET designed for reliable operation in extreme environments, ranging from -55°C to +225°C. This small-signal transistor stands out due to its low input capacitance of just 14pF and minimal gate leakage current of only 400nA at 225°C, making it ideal for use in high-temperature sensor interfaces such as piezoelectric sensors or protection amplifiers.
The Mars P-FET can source up to 310mA at 225°C, allowing it to efficiently control high-impedance devices. It can be used to convert a 3.3V or 5V logic signal into a high-voltage open-source output, with switching times under 10ns. When the gate is connected to the source, the Mars can function as a stable 30V small-signal transistor that performs reliably even in harsh conditions.
When paired with Mercury, CISSOID’s N-FET product line, engineers can easily separate analog and digital circuits in applications like pre-regulators, low-dropout regulators, level shifters, and CMOS switches. It also enables efficient control of open-source/drain logic on buses, offering a robust and straightforward solution for high-temperature systems.
The product is available under the part number CHT-SPMOS30, housed in a TO-39 metal package.
