On May 16, the press conference on “EV-TEST Management Rules†was held in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province. EV-TEST, the first domestic electric vehicle evaluation procedure, was officially released yesterday. Zhang Wei, EV-TEST project manager, introduced the EV-TEST test method and scoring method at the meeting. With the development concept of innovation, coordination, green, openness, and sharing, China Automobile Center actively promotes the improvement of the evaluation system for electric vehicles.
Director Zhou Hua introduced the EV-TEST operation management rules. The SAIC Center has established the China New Energy Vehicle Evaluation and Management Center (C-NEVAC), which is responsible for the organization and implementation of EV-TEST, including the determination of annual plans and financial budgets, the selection of models for evaluation, the review of evaluation results, and the handling of disputes and difficult issues.
