Abstract: This paper introduces a design method of home simple intelligent monitoring system. This method mainly integrates the embedded intelligent web server technology into the system, and then integrates the simple intelligent control mechanism into the system. Then it analyzes its hardware and software implementation mechanism to finally realize the system. Overall design. In addition, the paper also proposes solutions to some common problems in CGI programming.
0 Preface
With the popularity of the Internet and personal computers, Internet users have reached an unprecedented number, and the use of the network has gradually penetrated into various industries. Now, new services such as video conferencing and e-commerce have emerged. It has facilitated people's lives and improved social efficiency. Similarly, the development of video surveillance technology has also experienced the stage of analog monitoring and digital monitoring, and is now developing towards large-scale network monitoring technology.
The network monitoring system has the great advantage of being able to overcome the geographical limitation, the transmission signal is not easily interfered, and the network bandwidth can be reused, and thus has a broader development space than the traditional monitoring mode. To this end, this paper proposes a remote monitoring system based on embedded Web server, which integrates peripheral devices such as access control, infrared monitoring, smoke detection, etc., with intelligent monitoring, low cost of storage equipment, and network. The resource occupancy rate is small and convenient to expand.
1 system hardware design
The system uses S3C2410 as the control core and develops and designs based on the embedded Linux operating system. The nand flash device uses the cramfs file system. After power-on, the yaffs file system is mounted to save temporary data files, and an SD card interface is provided for saving video files.
The video capture device in this system uses USB Camera in SMIC's ZC301 chip. This chip is widely used in the market and can support Video4linux.
Video4linux is a set of APIs that support imaging devices in Linux systems. Image acquisition can be achieved with appropriate video capture devices and drivers.
Network access systems generally have two design methods, one is realized by external expansion network chip RTL8019AS, and the other is realized by externally extended GPRS module (in design, GPRS core module can adopt wavecomQ2403A). The former is suitable for applications where the detection location is fixed, while the latter method can provide event-triggered SMS transmission function and GPRS network access function, so that the video surveillance system can also be applied in environments such as automobiles and field sites. .
In addition, the system also expands the infrared, smoke measurement and control equipment, access control system, and is equipped with an alarm device. The overall block diagram of the system hardware design is shown in Figure 1.

2 software design
The system software consists of two parts: the background process and the front-end user interface. In order to prevent the appearance of the game, in the software implementation, the user CGI interface can use the system V mailbox communication mechanism to make a request to the background process. A thread receives a request in the background and performs unified scheduling of each device function module. Figure 2 shows the overall structural framework of the software of the system. The following describes each module of the system separately.
