Amazon and GrooveJones likely saw an opportunity to merge fashion with technology, using AR to create a more engaging shopping experience. Behind the scenes, GrooveJones used 130 SLR cameras to capture high-quality 3D models. Their system can capture 3 billion pixels per second, allowing for incredibly detailed and realistic visuals. This level of detail helps make the AR experience feel more immersive and authentic. While the AmazonFashionAR app hasn’t been released yet, it’s expected to come out soon. With Amazon planning events in New York, we might get a sneak peek at the AR experience sooner than anticipated. It's exciting to see how technology is changing the way we shop and stay active.
