The shape of the biofilm is different, and the effect will change. Moreover, the breathability of the biofilm is directly proportional to the humidity response. When the humidity reaches 100%, the biofilm will be completely open and the air permeability will be maximized.

Yao Lining, head of the BioLogic team, said that in terms of designers, biological technology is promising because they are life-giving and have great adaptability. The use of natural laws to adapt to the environment can achieve many functions such as electronic products that cannot be realized, such as these natto Bacillus subtilis. The substances made up of these cells have the natural ability to expand and contract, and they have a more intelligent "smart". Well, it would be better if it could solve the aesthetic problem.

Yao Lining pointed out that in the future, designers may also develop richer biological functions by modifying the DNA structure of cells, such as adding luminescent substances such as jellyfish and fireflies, and developing other luminescent natural luminescent materials (if you have seen "Sherlock" You may have already seen this technique); or add bacteria that devour contaminants, make fabrics that clean the air, and so on.
