Shanghai Blu-ray Organizer Seminar on Semiconductor Lighting Industry Standards

From June 26th to June 28th, 2010, the seminar on the draft of the semiconductor lighting technology industry standard sponsored by the Working Group of Semiconductor Lighting Technology Standards of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Shanghai Blu-ray Technology Co., Ltd. was held in Lingang New City, Pudong, Shanghai. At the meeting, the focus of the "Light-emitting diode epitaxial wafer", "LED epitaxial wafer test method" and "small power LED chip technical specifications" above three industry standards consultation draft, this is the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Semiconductor Standards Working Group Second plenary discussion.

15 experts and standardization technicians from Shanghai Blu-ray Technology Co., Ltd., the 13th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, and the Optoelectronic Devices Branch of China Optical Optoelectronics Industry Association attended the meeting. Chang Limin, Director of Technology Foundation Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Gan Xiaobin, Director of the Office of Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Chen Changmin, Deputy Director of the Technical Progress Department of the Shanghai Economic and Information Committee, Zhu Weihua, Deputy Director of the Electronic Information Industry Department of the Shanghai Economic and Information Committee, Shanghai Pudong Cai Longhai, deputy director of the New District Science and Technology Commission, and Kong Lingyi, director of the Intellectual Property Department of the Shanghai Pudong New Area Intellectual Property Office attended the meeting. Dr. Hao Maosheng, Vice President of Technology, Shanghai Blu-ray Technology Co., Ltd. presided over the meeting. Liu Wendi, the general manager of Shanghai Blu-ray Technology Co., Ltd., expressed his warm welcome to the leaders, experts and representatives who came to participate in the seminar. He also introduced the recent development of Blu-ray Technology and the progress in the drafting of standards.

At the seminar, experts and participants attended the drafting of the product industry standard "Light-emitting diode epitaxial wafer", "LED epitaxial wafer test method" and "small power LED chip technical specification" drafted by Shanghai Blu-ray Technology Co., Ltd. Serious and pragmatic discussions, especially for the verification of testing and other aspects, made clear requirements. The meeting requested Shanghai Blu-ray Technology Co., Ltd. to participate in the drafting of member units in conjunction with other parties to further improve the draft for comments, and hope that qualified units will do a good job. Standard pre-validation work provides strong data support for the discussion of subsequent standards.

In the speech, Director Chang Limin and Director Gan Xiaobin of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology hoped that all units would strengthen cooperation in drafting standards and jointly promote the standardization work in the field of semiconductor lighting. It is hoped that the standard working group will carefully implement the technical work and standard work in the field of semiconductor lighting.
