★★ LED decorative lighting in the ice and snow world
From December 2006 to March 2007, under the organization of the Science and Technology Department of Heilongjiang Province, a three-month semiconductor lighting ice lamp test was conducted in the Ice and Snow World, and feasibility tests on low-temperature reliability and optical effects applications were completed. All the equipment passed the three-month all-weather outdoor winter environment on site, and the minimum operating environment temperature was minus 30 degrees. It experienced many wind and snow tests and was in stable operation every day. After all the equipments were taken back, the key components of all the equipments were tested, all in normal working condition, and the LED lighting devices did not have a damage, attenuation and color drift phenomenon. This fully demonstrates the reliability and stability of LED products in low temperature cold operating environments.
In 2007, the Olympic Tower in the main landscape of the Ice and Snow World completed a small-scale promotion and application (the light source coverage rate is about 10%), which became the only dynamic landscape and the biggest highlight in the entire scenic area. After more than two months of operation, the equipment recovery rate exceeded 90%. After simple maintenance, all equipment returned to normal. At this point, the feasibility of combining LED decorative lighting with ice and snow landscape has been effectively confirmed.
