The reporter learned from the Shaanxi Provincial Price Bureau that since April 1, 2008, the non-residential lighting power of Shaanxi Power Grid has implemented the same price in urban and rural areas. According to estimates, after the implementation of this method, the annual burden of rural relief is about 80 million yuan.
A few days ago, with the consent of the Shaanxi Provincial Government, the Shaanxi Provincial Price Bureau issued the "Notice on Issues Concerning the Implementation of the Same Price of Urban and Rural Cities for Non-residential Lighting in Shaanxi Power Grid". The notice decided that the same price level should be implemented according to the current non-residential lighting price level in the current Shaanxi power grid sales price list.
It is understood that this same price was implemented on the basis of the same price of urban and rural electricity in Yulin Power Grid and the same price of urban and rural residents in Shaanxi Power Grid in 2002. The relevant departments said that this measure will play a positive role in building a new socialist countryside and further reducing the burden of rural electricity use.
