Sources pointed out that Taiwan's LED industry is expected to see strong market demand from China, with the aim of becoming the third largest market for LED lighting in 2015. The program will replace 30% of outdoor lighting with LEDs.
Yuyuan Optoelectronics said that in 2009, the global street lamp market will reach 193 million baht, of which 2.5 million will be LED lights, and by 2010 this figure will increase to 4.5 million baht.
