The game publisher 2K's VR game sold 9 million models?

Game publisher 2K has just released the first virtual reality game "Carnival Games VR", a new member of the "Carnival Games" series. "Carnival Games VR" will launch PSVR and HTC Vive on October 28, 2016 for $20 and landed at Oculus Rift at the end of the year.

"Carnival Games" in the Nintendo Wii surprisingly received very popular popularity. Few third-party games had previously been successful in this action-based control system, and 2K's "Carnival Games" was one of them. According to 2K, the global sales volume of this series has exceeded 9 million copies. 2K's investment in the Wii has paid off and they hope to replicate the same success in this fast-growing VR market.

Sarah Anderson, senior vice president of 2K marketing, said in an email sent to GamesBeat: “Virtual reality is an exciting new platform with the potential to optimize interactive entertainment production methods and experience methods. We are entering this field for the first time, and we hope to provide an entertainment experience that everyone can afford, allowing players to immerse themselves in the same classic fun of the Carnival Games game series."

"Carnival Games VR" will provide players with 12 experiences, including throwing equipment, throwing darts, and shooting range.
