Mulinsen: Domestic package share accounts for 30%-40%

At present, according to the production scale, Mulinsen is the largest LED packaging base in Asia, and its domestic packaging share accounts for 30%-40%.

Through improvements in packaging processes and materials, the company's production costs are reduced by 60% compared to 2005. Li Guanqun gave an example. In the past, the gold wire was connected to the chip and the bracket. Mulinsen was improved and replaced with iron wire. The cost dropped by 20%. Li Guanqun said that Mulinsen invested in the product development according to the 4% of the annual turnover. Gathering intelligence, is developing its own chip

In 2006, Mulinsen invested 10 million yuan to establish a "Photoelectric Technology Research Center and Semiconductor Lighting Joint Laboratory" in cooperation with Sun Yat-sen University. It brings together domestic and Japanese professionals to specialize in high-power LED materials and chips with independent intellectual property rights. . Research on packaging and application technology, and co-developed the industrialization research of power-type white phosphor coating technology and high-power white LED lighting source module based on loop heat pipe cooling technology. "This improves the product quality of the company and solves the LED. The technical barriers in lighting products have played a key role, and the chip is currently in the experimental stage," Li Guanqun said.

In 2006, Mlinsen's “Semiconductor Lighting Project” research project received special fund subsidies from the national “863” high-tech research and development plan. In addition, Mulinsen also carried out technical cooperation with INTEMATIX and Taiwan Xiongding Technology Co., Ltd., which greatly improved the company's level of scientific and technological innovation and greatly shortened the time for scientific research to transition to industrial production.
