Zhuo Ling Technology LED Industrial Park, led by the World Federation of Overseas Chinese and Chinese Associations, has recently officially settled in Xiangfan City. The LED Industrial Park was officially laid in October this year and is expected to be completed in October 2010. According to experts' tests, replacing 300,000 ordinary street lamps in a medium-sized city with high-power LED street lamps can save 285 million kilowatt-hours of electricity per year, save 200,000 tons of standard coal, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 100,000 tons, and emit 3,000 tons of sulfur dioxide.
