The renovation of Zhengyangmen Lighting on the south side of Tiananmen Square was also completed at the same time. As the main entrance of the inner city of Beijing in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the reconstructed Zhengyangmen night scene and the Qianmen Street are in harmony with each other, and the ancient capital is also evident. The municipal department of Beijing replaced all the outline lamp covers and light sources of Zhengyangmen Tower. The light source is changed to an LED light source with lower energy consumption and higher luminous efficiency. Existing floodlights and corrugated lamps are slightly modified and remain. The LED light source used in Zhengyangmen Tower is 20 times more energy-efficient than the original energy-saving lamp. The light source beam does not produce heat and has no ultraviolet and infrared rays. It is completely free of mercury, ensuring that the ancient millennium will not be damaged.
