Microsoft Announces Xbox Wireless Controller Will Support Gear VR

Xbox Wireless is the wireless connection technology Microsoft announced last month. Once the PC device is integrated with Xbox Wireless, it can be compatible with all Xbox One wireless accessories without the need for additional wireless adapters. Lenovo's newly released IdeaCentre Y710 Cube is the first PC to support Xbox Wireless, and more partners will launch PC devices and related accessories supporting Xbox Wireless in the future.

Now, Microsoft has extended the support of the Xbox wireless controller to the Samsung Gear VR. In other words, Gear VR users will soon be able to play VR games using the Xbox wireless controller. The Gear VR version of "My World" will be the first VR game to support the Xbox wireless controller. Microsoft will release a game update in October. Players will be able to play Gear VR's "My World" by connecting to the Xbox wireless controller via Bluetooth after downloading updates.

Microsoft said it will gradually support more Gear VR games in the future, including the multiplayer online RPG game Herobound, the adventure game Spirit Champion, and the action adventure game Omega Agent. Space combat game "End Space" and so on.
