What happens when a small generator is overloaded?
When the small generator is overloaded, it should be adjusted and treated according to the situation.
(1) When the small generator is overloaded, the temperature, cooling gas, internal cooling water pressure and flow rate of each part of the small generator should be monitored and controlled, and records should be made to find out the cause of the abnormality.
(2) According to the situation of small generator overload, reduce the active power and reactive power of the small generator, so that the current of the stator and rotor does not exceed the rated value.
(3) If the overload is caused by the abnormality of the automatic excitation regulator, the fault regulator can be exited and changed to manual operation to control the rotor current within the allowable range.
(4) If the system voltage and frequency are reduced, it may be that the system has a fault and the small generator is overloaded. It should be stopped immediately for processing.
