1. Cleaning After Grinding

The primary contaminants during grinding include abrasive powders and asphalt. Some companies may also introduce paint particles during the process. Different types of abrasive powders are used depending on the lens material and required grinding precision, with cerium oxide being a common component. Asphalt is applied to protect the polished surface from scratches or corrosion. Two main types of cleaning equipment are used after grinding: one relies on organic solvents, while the other uses semi-aqueous agents.
2. Cleaning Before Coating
The main pollutants before coating include core oil (also known as grinding oil), fingerprints, and dust. Since the coating process demands high cleanliness, the choice of cleaning agent is critical. It's not only important to consider the cleaning effectiveness but also factors like corrosiveness and compatibility with the lens material.

The ultrasonic cleaning machine delivers excellent results and is easy to operate. While humans can hear sounds between 20 Hz and 20,000 Hz, frequencies above 20,000 Hz are considered ultrasonic. These waves travel through liquids in a sinusoidal pattern, creating countless tiny bubbles. One reason for this is the formation of local tensile stress, which creates a negative pressure. This pressure drop causes dissolved gases in the liquid to become supersaturated and form small bubbles. Another cause is the intense tensile force that splits the liquid, forming cavities known as cavitation. This process enhances the cleaning effect by dislodging contaminants from surfaces effectively.
