Tile-type slab: three anti-ASUS TOUGH appeared in Japan KDDI

The day before yesterday (September 26th) at the WiMAX new product launch conference held by KDDI, the second largest operator in Japan, Asustek announced a new 7-inch Android tablet PC: TOUGH ETBW11AA. Due to its design for outdoor workers, this product's thickness of 22.2mm is comparable to that of a tile, making it one of the thickest Android tablets.

Key product indicators include the use of NVIDIA Tegra 2 1GHz dual-core SoCs with 1GB of internal memory and 16GB of storage. Running Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system, using a 7-inch touch screen resolution of 1280 * 800, equipped with a 500-megapixel camera (back), 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 + EDR. Supports CDMA 1x EVDO Rev. A and WiMAX system access the Internet, integrated mini USB and microSD expansion interface (up to 32GB expansion capacity).

The overall size is 215*132*22.2mm and weighs 620g. With IPX4 level of waterproof performance and IP5X level of dust performance, using a rubber shell, falling from the height of 76cm cement floor will not be damaged. It is said that the battery life can reach a full day.

ASUS TOUGH ETBW11AA will be officially launched after the beginning of October. Initially, it will use the signing system and will not enter the retail market for a time. The price is uncertain.
