What does QVGA mean?

QVGA is "QuarterVGA" As the name implies, it is one-fourth of the VGA size. The output resolution on the LCD screen is 240×320 pixels. It should be noted that some media use the QVGA screen as the same thing as LCD materials such as TFT and TFD. It is wrong to say that the QVGA screen is more common in some mobile phones in Japan. The smart phone screen currently using the Microsoft PPC operating system is also mostly 320 x 240 pixel QVGA screen.

The so-called QVGA LCD technology, is the LCD screen output resolution is 240 × 320 LCD output. This resolution has nothing to do with the size of the screen itself. For example, if a 2.1-inch LCD screen can display a 240×320 resolution image, it is called a “QVGA 2.1-inch LCD screen”; if a 3.8-inch LCD screen can display a 240×320 image, it is called “QVGA. "The 3.8-inch LCD screen", although the above two conditions have the same resolution, but the actual visual effect is different due to the different sizes, in general, a screen with a small screen will naturally be smaller.
